| Fairly nice photo of Western Pacific 2-8-0 Consolidation #27 built by Alco-Schenectady in August of 1909 (serial #46457). The loco was last used in February of 1952 and sold for scrap in February of 1953. Specs - 57" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 22x30" cylinders, engine wt of 203,000 lb, tractive effort of 43,305 lb. The photo was taken by Ashworth. |
