Hagley. Here is Digital Image "PRR_19813" from the Hagley Museum & Library Collection. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9500 and two more F-3's whose road numbers are not recorded. All were built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #9500 is an EF-15 constructed in July of 1947 and retired in September of 1962 after just 15 years of revenue service. It's the very first unit of its class purchased by the PRR. |
