Album Info:Here are several Pennsylvania Railroad-related images that I've "borrowed" from the Hagley Museum and Library Collection of Wilmington, Delaware.

Description:  Hagley. Here is a Digital Image from the Hagley Museum & Library Collection that was taken in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 3 May 1912. Prominent here is the Pennsylvania Railroad's East Altoona Coaling Wharf. In front of it are two unidentified steam locomotives taking-on coal. In the middle foreground are numerous cabin cars awaiting their next assignments. In the immediate foreground, a fully-loaded mineral train is passing under the 17th Street Bridge in the Juniata section of Altoona.

PRR 9500, EF-15, 1952
Title:  PRR 9500, EF-15, 1952
Description:  Hagley. Here is Digital Image "PRR_19813" from the Hagley Museum & Library Collection. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9500 and two more F-3's whose road numbers are not recorded. All were built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #9500 is an EF-15 constructed in July of 1947 and retired in September of 1962 after just 15 years of revenue service. It's the very first unit of its class purchased by the PRR.
