Description:
Here is a photo via Joseph Lavelle of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3248, a B-8A (0-6-0T) tank switcher built in Juniata as Allegheny Valley Railroad B-8 (0-6-0) number "6459" during October of 1907, renumbered PRR "3248" in June of 1910, later rebuilt as a B-8A (0-6-0T), and retired in May of 1952 after 45 years of faithful service. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. Williams Collection.
