Here is a duplicate 35mm B&W slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken near Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania, c. 1943. Shown here is Lehigh & New England engine #503, an L-1S (2-8-2) "Mikado" built in by the Pennsylvania Railroad in Juniata as number "1719" during February of 1918, then sold to the LNE and renumbered "503" in October of 1941. (Gift from Brad Mann.)
