Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #9593 and #9592. Both are BF-15's built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in July of 1949, rated at 1,500 horsepower each, and retired in June of 1964 after just 15 years of revenue service each. Both are BF-15's built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #9585 was built in May of 1949, while #9593 was built in July of 1949; both were retired in June of 1964 after just 15 years of revenue service. |
