Amtrak X995 |
Description: |
One of the disadvantages of slow speed slide film in 1977 was that sometimes you weren't quite sure if you got a decent shot until later when the processed slides arrived back from Kodak. Here's one of those examples as I attempted to capture the arrival of the "Swedish Meatball" into 30th Street Station on day 2 of the Septa Strike in March, 1977. With RS-3 smoke rising up in front of the unit, I caught the front half of the electric with my zoom. Sadly, I didn't get a chance to see the electric again. |
