Description:
Great Northern Railway F3 366C at Saint Paul, Minnesota on February 5, 1966, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Number 366C was built in November 1946 (c/n 3491) as GN F3A 227, renumbered in the 1950's to 275A, renumbered again in the 1960's as 366C, traded to EMD in September 1967. Also seen is Milwaukee Road Baldwin S12 914 attendini to the US Mail. The Milwuakee Road held the mail contract between Chicago and the Twin Cities.

Description:
Milwaukee Road S12 914 and Great Northern Railway SW1200 100 at Saint Paul Union Depot, Saint Paul, Minnesota on February 5, 1966, photo by Chuck Zeiler. Number 914 was built in January 1954 as MILW S12 1925 (c/n 75974), renumbered to 914, traded to EMD during 1968. Number 100 was built during January 1938 as GN NC 5101 (c/n 647) on EMC Order E188, later renumbered GN 5300. It was rebuilt by EMD during February 1955 on EMD Order 7520 to SW1200m 100, later becoming BN 106. Number 914 must have been on a transfer move, the Milwaukee had its own depot in Saint Paul.
