This certainly is not an FT, an F3 maybe.

This is an FT that has been modified with Farr Grills, angled numberboards, and removed portholes by the B&O. It still has the characteristic FT pilot with the step not as integrated as later F units, as well as the FT style dynamic brake resistor box on the top of the locomotive.

Note the large numberboards and stainless steel vertical slotted grills the Grills with horizontal Vains were named Farr-air vertical vained griils. This fta was up graded to an F7A. raised the housepower from 1350hp. to 1500Hp. still with the 567A. Engine.
