| Built by EMD in January of 1954 as UP GP9 #304, the loco is a true boomer locomotive having bounced through at least 7 rosters after leaving its original roster of Union Pacific (EMD, 1/1954). The boomer list is - nee-UP 224>SDAE 101>KYLE 101>SJVR 101>SJVR 1761>LCR 1761>WRIX 1761> lastly NPR 1761. The most recent photo in the RRPA database was taken in February of 2020 as NPR #1761.
