Things got very quiet as they usually do on the Indy Line after Corman came in so I began working east. CSX 1776, the Spirit of Our Armed Forces" unit was leading northbound I142 on the Toledo Sub and with it being so quiet outside I began to wonder if it was really worth my time sitting along the Indy Line to get any of the other signals. I eventually caved and went to the Toledo Sub right as I142 was working north through Sidney. Thanks to I75, I was able to chase the train to Wapak where I finally got ahead of it, and grabbed a shot of it passing the station there. This was the last Spirit unit I had yet to get leading a train, so in a way it was worth it, but that means another trip to the Indy Line will be in store at some point. |
