| Brutish snout of the Alco C420 locomotive built in August of 1967 for the Monon RR. It only got to serve the Monon for a few years before the Monon merged into the L&N in 1971 and this loco became LN #1328. No information was listed on the photo and the date stamped on the photo margin may not be the actual date the photograph was taken. The amount of road grime seems to place it in 1969 however. |
