With a tender loaded with coal and a head of steam up, it looks like this Alco-Rhode Island 0-6-0 steam yard switcher is ready for its next assignment. Built in August of 1906, the little switcher lasted until being sold to the Lake Erie & For Wayne RR as their #1. It was eventually retired in March of 1957 to the city of Fort Wayne, IN. The loco was on display in Swinney Park but in 1975, it was moved to the Fort Wayne Historical Park in New Haven, IN. There is is undergoing restoration.
