Big Apples were used from 1943 to 1953 on the Central of Georgia. Much like the Hudson's, they hauled passenger and freight until around 1948 when E7s took over that job. With 73" drivers, 27 z 30 cylinders, 250 lbs. of boiler pressure, a tractive effort of 62,300. Weight 447,200 lbs.
