Housatonic Railroad NX-12 at Housatonic  Contributor's Pick!       
Work on reconstructing the Park Street Bridge over the Housatonic River pauses when workers raise their heads to view the Housatonic Railroad Companys Canaan, Connecticut to Pittsfield, Massachusetts road job as it rolls into the old mill town of Housatonic, Massachusetts. This train, originally started by the New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad as "New Haven Division Train Twelve", or NX-12, consisted of forty-seven cars and had EMD GP35 #3601 leading GP35 #3604 and GP35M #3600 on this fine Spring morning.
