Good looking example of the 1915 Baldwin 2-8-2 Mikado built for the Fort Worth & Denver Railway. This is an example of the first Mikado class, E-4A1. Specs - 64" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 27x30" cylinders, engine weight of 273,125 lb, tractive effort of 66,640 lb. With the exception of #401, all 9 in the class were scrapped between 1955-60. Thanks to Brock Jones (see comment below) for helping correct some information on the page, #401 was sold for scrap in May of 1955. #410 was renumbered T&P 400 and ended up as a static display in Marshall, TX.
