PRR 4571, MPB-54E3, 1965
M.U. Electrics. Here is an original photo that I took of Pennsylvania Railroad equipment in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, on 03 July 1965. Shown here (R to L) are PRR #4571 and #4533. Both were built by American Car & Foundry. #4571 is an MBP-54E3 (Baggage Car), while #4533 is an MBM-62T (Mail Car). Both look serviceable to me, but they are on their way to the Reclamation Plant in Frankstown. This photo was taken along South Juniata Street, adjacent to the PRR's Freight Station.
