Trains on the Tier almost never went with one unit. There were too many grades to overcome between Buffalo and Jersey, despite a lot of river running to ease the trip. Todays BUOI has only 37 cars, so perhaps the trip wont be as much of a struggle as usual. They made it over Attica Hill, lets see how they do over Gulf Summit and Otisville. Perhaps that EL box car up front will bring them luck. |
