Its a shame to see teh bay window boarded up. I spent many (way too many) hours here when I was not in class at York College back in the late 70s. This was a really cool depot. The waiting room (on right) had a tiled floor which alternated 12 inch black and white tiles in a diamond pattern. The baggage room was on the left, and for awhile, sported an REA logo painted on the window glass.

The rail in the foreground of the picture is part of the siding and lead that serviced the York County Co-Op grain elevator (to the right of picture) until the elevator silos collapsed some years ago, leaving about 4 or 5 feet of corn across the mainline tracks. To the left of the photo was a lumber yard and another industry which I've gorgotten what it was. The engine for the York local was also parked here for re-fueling.
