| CN local crosses Olde Oneida St. at Mile Post 120 as it pulls 10 cars westward through the Flats via former C&NW rails at Appleton, WI on 26 Mar. '15. Train was heading back to the yard at Appleton Junction after working Kimberly and Combined Locks and had two locomotives, Grand Trunk Western. The train is traversing what used to be a 6-track yard decades ago. In 2014 the last remnant of the yard, a passing siding, was pulled up. The C&NW depot stood where the row of trees is, lower right. The MILW had a small yard off to the right, their depot stood in the grassy area at the middle of the right edge of photograph. |
