| Built by American Car & Foundry in 1906, this wooden gondola was donated to the Museum by the Delaware & Hudson in 1974. One of the oldest pieces of D&H rolling stock in existance today. The Delaware & Hudson, primarily operating in the state of New York, mostly kept to the northeastern part of Pennsylvania. After 1976 however, when Conrail came about, the D&H would expand with certain lines and trackage rights due to a need for competition. |
