This was a chartered train from Chicago to Galesburg, Illinois, sponsored by the 20th Century Railroad Club, to attend BN's 3rd Annual Galesburg Railroad Days. Admittedly a poor place to be standing by anyone's safety standards, but no train was moving, the Galesburg Zephyr had just dischargered a couple hundred unescorted railfans onto BN property, I was not alone as there was a photo line of sorts, nevertheless a safety violation, I'm sorry. |
