Georgetown Breckenridge and Leadville Railroad 40 at Silver Plume, Colorado on an unknown day in August 1984, Kodachrome by Edward M. DeRouin, Chuck Zeiler collection. Number 40 was built by Baldwin in 1920 (c/n 53777) for the Guatemala Railway as number 50, later the International Railways of Central America (IRCA) in Guatemala, renumbered in 1928 to IRCA 40. It was sold to the Colorado Central in 1972, and in 1977 it was moved to the Georgetown Loop tourist operation. |
