A CN train parallels W. Butte des Morts Beach Rd. and crosses an apparently unnamed stream as it heads northeast via former C&NW rails at Stroebe, WI, on 28 Feb. '25. Stroebe is a railroad station in Fox Crossing, Winnebago Co., WI (formerly Town of Menasha, Winnebago Co., WI, from 1855 until 14 Apr. 2016 (not Outagamie Co., where Stroebe was erroneously placed on this site)). The approaches of the Roland Kampo Bridge (a.k.a. the Polish Connection) at the Hwy. 41/Hwy. 10/Hwy. 441 (a.k.a. Tri-County Expressway) interchange loom in the background. Modern maps tend to omit the W. from W. Butte des Morts Beach Rd. for some reason, it is also absent on the current street sign. Some old maps include the W., some old maps omit the W.
