| Recently rebuilt UP C44ACM 9788, formerly CNW C44-9W 8684, leads a massive double manifest through Grinter Heights on a cold and windy January morning. The snow from Winter Storm Cora had finally disappeared, with only traces of snow left in spots that were mostly protected from the sun during the day. This Chicago and North Western veteran is still earning its keep on the Union Pacific almost 31 years after it rolled out of General Electrics Erie plant. |
