GE 44T Commonwealth Rwy DE91, National Railway Museum, Port Adelaide SA. Built as US Army 7922, it was shipped under lend-lease to Australia and worked in the St. Mary's Ammunition Plant in NSW before becoming New South Wales RY 7922. It later went to Commonwealth Railways as DE-91 and later with Australian National RY (ANRC). It was one of at least four 44 tonners that made their way to Australia. |
