Western Railway of Alabama depot          
The original Tuskegee Rail Road Company was incorporated February 20, 1860, under special act of the State of Alabama. The company built 5.73 miles of 60-inch gauge railroad from Chehaw to Tuskegee, AL. After converting to standard gauge in August 1898, it operated until 1953

Robert Williams General My dad, O.C. Williams, worked at this depot from about 1950 until 1956. We lived in a section house near the tracks to the left of this photo. 1/23/2021 4:21:24 PM
