| CSX C40-8 7642 was the lead unit on R682. R682 had been in Manchester way before 7am and didn't actually have a crew on it till about 3pm and then had issues with the spring switch at the south end of the round around track that it sits on. The switch wouldn't go back to normal therefore the train cou.d have derailed some cars if moved. They played with it for a couple of hours before they could move the train. An aggrivating day for the crew no doubt. |
