SDP40F, not a F45, do you mean this engine is rebuilt as a SD40-2 (prime mover, electrics, etc..)?

Amtrak. It used the cowl body from the F45/FP45 locomotive on what was basically a SD40-2. I am not sure how long they were. They carried a lotof water for the steam generator and had several derailment incidents. It is speculated the water slotshed and caused the derailment. Antrak traded most of them on F40PHs.
