The former Lieber Lumber facility, 139 N Lake St, Neenah, WI, is partially visible at right. Part of the facility is used as a warehouse by somebody, the office/retail building is currently home to the Valley Academy for the Arts.

The silo of American Colloid Co., a rail customer, is visible in the background. The Hwy. G overpass is in the background at right.

Description:  A CN local momentarily fouls the driveway as it prepares to depart LSC Communications, Inc. (formerly RR Donnelley, originally Banta Corp.), 800 Midway Rd., and head southwest via former MILW rails at Menasha, WI on 17 Dec. '17. LSC Communications was spun off from RR Donnelley ca. Nov. '16. I was thrilled to espy WC 16 bringing up the rear of the consist. It was awesome to see a former MILW caboose on former MILW rails, and I can't recall the last time I saw a caboose on a train.

Shown here is PRR engine #6180, a Q-2 (4-4-6-4) built in Juniata during March of 1945 and retired in December of 1953 ~ a mere eight years after it was out-shopped!

Description:  The crowd was big at Siloam-over 2500 people came to see the train-and even though it was opened at 4 PM, at 6:30 there was still quite a crowd waiting, though the line had gotten a lot shorter by then. Fortunately, it was warm-in the 60s when the event started.
