This solid 4-6-2 Pacfiic was built by Alco-Schenectady in April of 1911.It underweent several rebuilds of its arch tubes and thermic syphon with Elesco feedwater hearter installated. After nearly 40 years of service, the loco was scrapped in May of 1951 Specs - class P-2-a (P-2-b in 12/1918, P-2-d in 7/1924), 73" drivewrs, 200psi boiler pressure, engine wt of 238,000 lb, tractive effort of 31,600 lab. Built by Alco-Schenectady in 1911, Boston & Maine 4-6-2 Pacific #3625 led a very productive serviece record. It was rebuilt and reclassified several times and had an Elecso feedwater hearter installed. Between 5/23/1949 to 5/27/1949, it was used on the Barre & Chelsea train #1&2 due to a diesel breakdown. The loco was finally scrapped in August of 1955. Specs - class P-2-a (P-2-b in 12/1918, P-2-d in 7/1924), 73" drivewrs, 200psi boiler pressure, engine wt of 238,000 lb, tractive effort of 31,600 lab.
