Album Info:The Adirondack Scenic Railroad celebrated its 20th Anniversary this weekend with a big railfan event in Thendara/Old Forge, NY. They had a railroad simulator, visiting equipment, and the nicest bunch of people from the Alco Historical Society on hand as well as locomotive cab tours, engine tours, photo sessions, and tons of other great railfan events. The day began with a 2-hour train ride from Utica Union Station north to Thendara. Various events were held throughout the day, then a 2-hour ride back to Utica. A spectacular and very well-run event made for a great Labor Day weekend!
