Description: |
A grain spout hang's over an asphalt pad where rails once sat. This is part of the former Farm Bureau elevator (southwest corner of Argyle and Minden Streets). Rails once crossed through the middle of the intersection and ran along the south side of Argyle street. This track also ran along the back side of Trellborg (Yale Rubber). It was also where the PM and the Detroit bay City & Western (and successor Detroit Caro and Sandusky) met at the DBC&W's wye west of Dawson street. |
