I modeled this Rock 3-ACF Center Flow hopper after the real one. It was the only one in the Rock 800000-800499 series to receive the "Route Rock" slogan, all the others in the series just had simply "The Rock". |

ROUTE ROCK 54' covered hopper in HO Scale |
Description: |
I painted and modeled the Rock's PS2 54' covered hopper with the "ROUTE ROCK" slogan in the 801000 series. The "ROUTE" should be against the first rib but because Microscale decals aren't quite the right length I had to compromise and move it over some to the "ROUTE ROCK" would line up on the side of the car where it should be. After the ROCK shutdown a lot of these cars went to the C&NW. |
