NS 267 slowly pulls west through Ogden Dunes behind CP 137. Colhouer wasnt quite ready for them yet, and they were gigantic. They would stop just beyond the crossing, and would be the final NS train I would catch of the day. |

CSS 30 pulls in for their station stop at Ogden Dunes as the Longest Day Trip has come to a close. In all, I got 88 moves between NS, South Shore, Amtrak, CSX, CP, and the IHB. An incredible amount of trains with hardly any gaps in traffic. Ogden Dunes is definitely a must visit for any railfan making a visit to the Chicago area. Really enjoyed my time there. An exhausting 3 hour drive back home landed me back at my house just before after midnight. Had an awesome day! |
